In our motorhome, we have implemented a versatile water filtration system to ensure we always have access to clean water. This system allows us to fill our water tank through two different methods. When a water tap is available, we simply connect our water filter to the tap using a hose, allowing us to filter the water directly as it fills the tank.
In situations where a water tap is not accessible, we have a convenient backup solution. We use a small, portable 12-volt pump controlled by a remote, along with a hose to draw water from a container. This setup enables us to pump water through the filter and into the tank, ensuring that we always have filtered water no matter where we are. This dual-method approach provides us with flexibility and peace of mind during our travels.
