Fastigheten ligger strax utanf\u00f6r Stockholm. Det var h\u00e4r vi b\u00f6rjade, och h\u00e4r har vi v\u00e5ra r\u00f6tter. Detta hem har funnits i min familj i generationer. N\u00e4r min far flyttade till USA k\u00f6pte jag huset fr\u00e5n honom.<\/p>

Det \u00e4r i detta omr\u00e5de vi har v\u00e5ra jobb och d\u00e4r v\u00e5ra barn g\u00e5r i skolan. Jag arbetar inom IT p\u00e5 ett MSP-f\u00f6retag, och all min fritid g\u00e5r \u00e5t till homesteading, friluftsliv och resan mot ett mer h\u00e5llbart s\u00e4tt att leva.<\/p>

Fastigheten \u00e4r inte stort, men vi anv\u00e4nder st\u00f6rsta delen av marken. Vi har ett v\u00e4xthus och en inh\u00e4gnad tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rd. Staketen \u00e4r verkligen n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndiga f\u00f6r att h\u00e5lla ute r\u00e5djur, \u00e4lgar, harar och andra djur.<\/p>

Vi har ocks\u00e5 byggt en verkstad, d\u00e4r jag kan tillbringa de m\u00f6rka m\u00e5naderna med olika hantverksprojekt. Det finns videor om detta p\u00e5 YouTube.<\/p>

F\u00e4r m\u00e5nga \u00e5r sedan installerade vi ett 14 kWh solcellssystem p\u00e5 v\u00e5ra tak. Det producerar cirka 80 % av v\u00e5r el, men under vinterm\u00e5naderna f\u00e5r vi betydligt mindre energi.<\/p>
